What is Braille Text?
Braille is a tactile writing system used by people who are visually impaired. Traditionally, it is embossed on paper and read by touch. In the digital world, Braille is represented by the Braille Patterns Unicode block, allowing these characters to be displayed as text on screens.
How to use the Braille Converter
Our tool maps standard English letters (A-Z) and numbers (0-9) to their corresponding 6-dot Braille patterns. Note that digital Braille is mostly used for aesthetic decorations in social media bios or for educational displays.
- Copy & Paste: Unlike images, these dots are real text characters.
- Unicode Support: Works on Instagram, Discord, TikTok, and Twitter.
- Educational: Use the reference grid below the tool to learn which dots correspond to which letter.
